When I was a little girl, I was very fortunate to have a Paternal Grandmother who was a Crocheting Guru and a Maternal Grandmother who was a Knitting Ninja. Fortunately, they had the patience to teach me, and I thank them every day for that. I have loved using and making with fibre all my life. Knitting, crocheting, weaving, macrame, absolutely everything. Now I am in love with recycled cotton cord, which I make my bags, table runners, placemats, washcloths & baskets. I would really be so disappointed for these traditional aspects to die out, luckily I have a Granddaughter, who will hopefully love fibre as well. |
